A snap of my mate’s the Thomson’s (and neighbours’) home-baking.
Their event, part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, while raising literally hundreds of pounds, coincided with an out-of-the-blue offer by the Huffington Post to share my blog posts. Look out for me blogging analysis of that very soon.
In the meantime, given it’s one year since the passing of my step-mum from cancer, it seemed right to publish ‘Bowel Cancer: The Great Escape’ as my own wee dedication. I’ve adapted it ever so slightly to integrate information about how anyone can donate £5 to Macmillan.
